Source Auditor is a software and
services organization focused on identifying and managing Open Source
code in commercial software products. Originally founded as CoTegrity
in 2004 after several technical due diligence exercises, Source Auditor
has developed significant expertise, a large knowledge base, and
sophisticated proprietary software scanning technology to help
companies identify and manage their open source license obligations.
We have conducted over 100 open source audits working with F500
companies as well as small software startups across a wide variety of
platforms including consumer electronics, enterprise software, and
hosted service environments. We consider it our mission to help you
manage the open source that is embedded inside your commercial software.
Management
Source Auditor was co-founded by Gary O’Neall,
where he also serves as the Chief Technology Officer and as a Principal
Consultant. He has served for
over 20 years in a wide variety of technology management roles in F500
companies like HP and Motorola, and in smaller startups like Placeware
and
Icarian. He has managed technology due diligence both from the point
of view of the acquirer and from the point of view of the acquisition.As
the Chief Technology Officer of Placeware when it was
acquired by Microsoft in 2003, Gary drove the required technical due
diligence and learned many helpful lessons about finding out what open
source was really inside his own source code. As the General Manager
of Electronic Commerce for
Hewlett Packard, Gary drove the required technical due diligence when

Korak
Mitra is a
co-founder of Source Auditor, where he also serves as the Vice
President of Marketing and Business Development and as a Principal
Consultant. Korak enjoys building software businesses and has served for over 20 years in a variety of technology management
positions. He has worked in F500 companies like HP and Nokia and in smaller companies such
as Netscape, Airflash, Yellowpages.com, and Intellisync, all of which were
acquired. Korak served as the Vice President of the Messaging Division (building the Netscape
messaging server) when it was acquired by AOL in 1999, and then absorbed into
Sun iPlanet.At AirFlash, Korak served
as Chief Operating Officer, when AirFlash was acquired by Webraska in 2001.At Intellisync, Korak served as Vice
President of the Telecom Operator business when it was acquired by Nokia in
